Zombie Show[off]case!
Rearranging my books last night, and the idea occurs to see just how many *braaainzzz* z-reads I've collected thus far.
Is that pile drool-worthy or not?! Oh, yeahs.
My favs are as follows:
The Forest of Hands & Teeth trilogy by Carrie Ryan
The Reapers Are The Angels by Alden Bell
Dying to Live by Kim Paffenroth
Soulless by Christopher Golden
Dust by Joan Frances Turner
If you're like me and prefer your zombies a tad on the grim & gritty side, give the above a whirl. Even if you don't - read them anyway; it builds character ;D
Edit to add:
Starting with the left pile top to bottom>
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and Zombie Jim by M. Twain & W. Bill Czolgosz
Soulless
Dawn of the Dreadfuls by Steve Hockensmith
Queen Victoria Demon Hunter by A.E. Moorat
The Reapers Are the Angels
Never Slow Dance With a Zombie by E.Van Lowe
The Living Dead 2 [anthology] edited by John Joseph Adams
Zombies VS. Unicorns [anthology] edited by Black & Larbalestier
The Loving Dead by Amelia Beamer
Three Quarters Dead by Richard Peck
Dust
Dying to Live
Generation Dead by Daniel Waters
On the right side>
The First Days by Rhiannon Frater
Flip This Zombie by Jesse Petersen
Rot & Ruin by Jonathan Maberry
Ashes by Ilsa J. Bick
The Monster Book of Zombies [anthology] edited by Stephen Jones
The Dark and Hollow Places by Carrie Ryan
The Dead-Tossed Waves by Carrie Ryan
The Forest of Hands & Teeth by Carrie Ryan
And that's not all. I want the Monster Island series, any & all sequels to above books, ...
you name it ... must.have.them .... MWHA HA HA HA HA [in the midst of maniacal chortling, M.A.D. gets sleepy and wanders off to take a nap].
The End.
