I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

Even though I'm up to my crumbling chiney-chin-chin in multiple projects & minutia at the moment, I just wanted to make a wee post to let all my beloved friends, fellow book bloggers, & talented author friends to know how much I ...

*LOVE* YOU GUYS!!!!!!!

Thank you for the smiles, all the fun, interesting posts, uplifting comments, giveaways and goodies I've had the ultimate pleasure to enjoy. Mostly thank you for giving this *noobie* a chance to throw her 1.5 cents into the collective pot.

Here is wishing EACH and everyone of you all the best this world has to offer.

Hugs & Bugs,
M.A.D.

  1. Aw, I love you too, M.A.D.! *huggles!*
How is your Saturday going? I hope it is splendiferous and sunny! Mine is going well. I had a nice long chat with "Manuel Labor" (haha). We had to cut a dead tree in our backyard. It was a lot more fun than it sounds because I enjoy heavy lifting (even though I strained an ab. Singular. One abdominal muscle out of the whole 6-pack). My dad handled the chainsaw, which our neighbor was nice enough to lend us after noticing that a hand saw just wasn't cutting it (no pun intended), and I sorted all the wood. So my Saturday was spent, for the most part, sorting a whole tree (logs here, sticks here, branches that wish they were logs over there, and twigs that are of no use whatsoever and will be taken to the dump shortly in the truck bed). My arms look like I got in a fight with the cat, but the good news is that we'll be getting a fire pit soon so we have something to do with all that nicely sorted wood.
Anyhoo! Choosing our own songs and surprising each other sounds good to me! Now I just need to choose a song. Maybe I'll finish something I've been working on for awhile now... Can't wait to see what you pick!
PS A couples friend of mine/fellow bloggers are having a huge contest right now. They're celebrating their blogoversaries with a duel contest extravaganza! Click here to be shunted to the contest post. Orchid is also giving away a book that I think you might like. It's called The Half-Made World and it's steampunk and sounds pretty awesome. Click here if ye wish to enter the aforementioned contest.

  3. That's what I love about this community, it's so very friendly. I've been part of other communities where that wasn't the case.

  5. BTW - I am back from the yummiest Chili Cook-Off EVER! And it was said that this year's event drew an even larger crowd than the year before, which I do not doubt as my favorite team ran out of chili before I ran out of tummy room ;D

Thank GAWD somebody had a *free cookie* both to fill up the empty spots.

Me thinks I'd best be avoiding the bathroom scale for several days!
