As a fellow animal lover, I think this is a wonderful idea and hope you will agree. Please take a minute to visit her blog and read/enter her giveaway.
And I'd like to add a few thoughts of my own here: While animals suffer & starve year 'round, winter is an especially difficult time for most of God's innocent creatures. Please take the time to feed & water a stray, throw out stale bread and such for the birds, feed corn for squirrels, donate or support a NO-KILL Shelter in your area, etc etc. Any kindness you can offer will mean so much more than you will ever know.
Furthermore, please make an effort to become *brand* aware by reading the backs of cosmetics, hair-colorings, make-up, shampoo [all health & beauty aid items] to ONLY purchase those that are cruelty-free! Most of us have NO idea the large-scale suffering brought about by unnecessary laboratory testing. It would really shame most of us if we had the slightest inkling how our vanity has brought about horrendous mistreatment of helpless creatures. Ugh!! [and epic fail!] So please, PLEASE familiarize yourself with how and where you spend your dollars.
